As a result of our significant growth, we are seeking an experienced Application Architect to work at our head office in Oakville, ON. You will be part of a highly skilled and growing Engineering team delivering a high-quality SaaS product in a fast-paced environment.   The job:   As we modernize our platform and our architecture, move to the cloud, and scale, you will play a key role in helping Invisor and its clients thrive by identifying the critical systems and designs that need to change and the critical features that need to be built in order to make our platform stronger, more flexible, more scalable, and easier to work on.   You will:

  • work with product and technical stakeholders to identify key non-functional requirements and lead the high-level design required for us to meet them
  • prototype new ideas and work with our development teams to provide high-level technical guidance
  • act as a sounding board for lower level design issues while still letting the teams own and solve problems
  • provide a more experienced perspective and voice to help our platform and our engineering teams grow

We’ll rely on your broad and deep experience to identify and communicate the right architectural runway to build in order to keep feature development moving along in a smooth, healthy, and consistent way.     What we are looking for:    We’re looking for the right person: a very experienced and collaborative technical leader who has the knowledge, experience, and maturity required to guide the modernization and evolution of our SaaS platform; someone with the communication and people skills required to build shared understanding and agreement; someone who enjoys and has had success with complex technical challenges.   In addition to strong verbal and written communication skills and (at least) a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, you also have:
